Anubhav Singh Bassi performed Kisi Ko Batana Mat in Haldwani on Friday 2 October 2026, his first show in the city. Gates opened at 5:00 pm and closed at 6:15 pm, and the show ran 6:00 pm to 8:15 pm. The set was in Hindi and tickets started at Rs 1,499 plus taxes on Tixoo. The organiser's ticket page listed the Basketball Indoor Arena at the Indira Gandhi stadium, Gaulapar, on 23 September 2026, and Ranveer The Garden Resort, Dahariya, when we checked on 3 October 2026.
What the show is
Kisi Ko Batana Mat is Anubhav Singh Bassi's touring stand-up set, the one built out of the long-form stories he is known for rather than a run of one-liners. Haldwani is a new stop on it. The organiser, DRIX Entertainment, is billing this as his first show in the city, which is the reason the poster leads with the word finally.
The room is the basketball indoor arena inside the Indira Gandhi sports complex, not the cricket ground itself. That matters for what to expect: it is an enclosed hall with fixed seating tiers, so the experience is closer to an auditorium than to the open-air nights Haldwani usually gets. The set is in Hindi.
Date, time and the 5 pm on the poster
The poster says 2nd Oct, 5 PM onwards. That is the gate time, not the show time. On the organiser's own ticket page the running time is 6:00 pm to 8:15 pm, gates open at 5:00 pm and gates close at 6:15 pm, after which entry is refused. Read the poster as an instruction to arrive at five rather than a promise that anything happens at five.
The margin is thin. If you arrive at six for a six o'clock show you have fifteen minutes to park, clear security and find your seat, at a venue on the bypass with one main approach. Treat 5:00 pm to 5:45 pm as the sensible window.
2 October is Gandhi Jayanti, a national holiday and a dry day across Uttarakhand, so expect no bar service and heavier than usual traffic on the Haldwani roads through the afternoon.
Where the venue actually is
Update, 3 October 2026: the organiser's ticket page now gives the venue as Ranveer The Garden Resort, Satyalok Colony, Dahariya, and no longer mentions the indoor arena. We found no public notice of the change. The notes below describe the venue as it was listed on 23 September.
The ticket page gave the address as Gola Park. The locality is Gaulapar, on the Haldwani bypass road, and that is the name every local and every cab driver in the city will recognise. Asking for Gola Park will get you a blank look. Ask for the Indira Gandhi stadium at Gaulapar.
It sits roughly 2.5 km from Haldwani railway station and about 3 km from the bus station, which is ten to fifteen minutes in normal traffic and longer on a holiday evening. The complex is large and holds several grounds, so tell the driver you want the indoor arena rather than the main cricket gate.
Tickets and seating
Booking is online on Tixoo. Seven tiers are on sale, all prices plus taxes:
| Seating | Price, plus taxes |
|---|---|
| General | Rs 1,499 |
| Silver | Rs 2,499 |
| Gold | Rs 2,999 |
| Diamond | Rs 3,199 |
| Platinum | Rs 3,749 |
| VIP | Rs 4,199 |
| VVIP | Rs 4,999 |
Prices as listed by the organiser on 23 September 2026. Taxes are added at checkout.
The tier names do not run in price order, so read the number rather than the name: Diamond at Rs 3,199 sits below Platinum at Rs 3,749. Check the seating map on the booking page before you pick, because in an indoor arena the difference between tiers is sightline and distance from the stage rather than anything served.
Tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable. The organiser is clear that missing the show for any reason does not earn a refund. Carry a government photo ID; the organiser may check it at the gate. Outside food and drink are not allowed in.
We list this event editorially. We do not sell tickets, take bookings or earn anything from the booking link. Confirm prices and terms on the organiser's page before you pay.
Getting there and where to stay
The show ends at 8:15 pm, which is early enough to drive back to Nainital, Bhimtal or Kathgodam the same night. If you are coming down from further up the hills, or you would rather not take the bypass road back in the dark, a night in Haldwani is the simpler plan and it puts you close to the venue rather than an hour from it.
- Hotels near the bus stand: the closest cluster to the stadium side of town.
- Stays near Haldwani railway station: about 2.5 km from the venue, useful if you are arriving by train.
- Hotels on Rampur Road: the widest price range in the city.
- Budget stays under Rs 1,500: if the spend is going on the ticket instead.
Or go straight to our Haldwani hotel search and filter by area and price. Rooms near the stadium side book out on event nights, so a holiday weekend is not the one to leave until the day.
Good to know
- Gates close at 6:15 pm sharp and late arrivals are not let in. This is the single thing most likely to go wrong.
- The age limit was 15 and over on the ticket page on 23 September and 16 and over on 3 October, so this was not one to bring younger children to.
- The set is in Hindi.
- 2 October is a dry day in Uttarakhand, so plan for no bar.
- Carry a government photo ID. The organiser may verify it at the gate.
- Parking is at the complex and fills up. Arriving at five rather than six is as much about parking as about security.
- Photography and filming may happen at the event and may be used by the organiser afterwards.
- For anything about the booking itself, the organiser's contact number is +91 83540 02977.
Common questions
What time does the Bassi show in Haldwani actually start?
The show runs from 6:00 pm to 8:15 pm on Friday 2 October 2026. Gates open at 5:00 pm, the 5 pm printed on the poster, and shut at 6:15 pm. Entry is refused after 6:15 pm, so the poster time is when you should arrive rather than when Bassi walks on.
Where is the venue?
The organiser's ticket page on Tixoo listed the Basketball Indoor Arena at the Indira Gandhi International Sports Stadium, Gaulapar, when we read it on 23 September 2026. When we checked again on 3 October 2026, the day after the show, the same page gave the venue as Ranveer The Garden Resort, Satyalok Colony, Dahariya, Haldwani. We found no public notice of a venue change, so both are recorded here.
How much are tickets?
General seating starts at Rs 1,499 plus taxes. The other tiers are Silver Rs 2,499, Gold Rs 2,999, Diamond Rs 3,199, Platinum Rs 3,749, VIP Rs 4,199 and VVIP Rs 4,999, each plus taxes. Booking is on Tixoo.
Is there an age limit?
Yes. The ticket page said 15 and over on 23 September 2026 and 16 and over on 3 October 2026. The set was in Hindi and the published running time was 6:00 pm to 8:15 pm, with no interval announced.
Can I get a refund if I cannot attend?
No. The organiser states that tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable and that no refund is issued if a ticket holder cannot attend. A refund applies only if the event itself is cancelled or postponed, under the policy the organiser and the ticketing platform announce at that point.
Do I need to stay overnight in Haldwani?
It depends where you are coming from. The show ends at 8:15 pm, so Nainital, Bhimtal and Kathgodam are all drivable the same night. If you are coming from further up the hills, or you would rather not take the Gaulapar bypass road late, a night in Haldwani is the easier call.
How we listed this
We list local events editorially and are not the organiser or the ticketing platform. The date, gate and show times, venue, language, age limit, seating prices and terms on this page are taken from the organiser's own ticket page on Tixoo, read on 23 September 2026 and again on 3 October 2026, when it showed the event as ended, the venue as Ranveer The Garden Resort and the age limit as 16 and over. The locality correction from Gola Park to Gaulapar and the distances from the railway and bus stations are ours. Prices exclude taxes as stated by the organiser and may change. If the show is moved or cancelled, the organiser and Tixoo announce it, not us. Tell us at hih.editorial@gmail.com if anything here has gone out of date.
